At 4 feet, they are ideally suited to Ferguson TE 20 series tractors, if used with care. You could top nearly 2 acres an hour in third gear at 4 m.p.h with one of these; a good, fast, walking pace!
Here is a photo of the underside of one of these fantastic machines (lifted high on a fork lift), showing the 12mm, solid steel, replaceable, blades. Most blades, should you ever wear them out or break them are available from us at only £10.00 + carriage a set.
The four foot version (particularly handy with a Ferguson) is incredible, at £535.00
Don't buy a topper without an over running coupler
and the right sized coupling
Other vendors of other makes may not understand your Ferguson tractor
UK Delivery can usually be arranged. MOST items cost £80.00 to deliver to MOST places in the UK.
I strongly recommend the use of an Over Running Coupler when ANY TOPPER is used with a Ferguson tractor. They help to avoid the possibility of harm to tractors, gates, fences, ditches, animals and children. They can be bought at any good Agricultural Enginering Supplies for about £90-£100 or thereabouts. Having said that, the best type is the shaft with built-in over running coupler and a 1 1/8" coupling to fit a Ferguson tractor, which is £185 extra. The cheaper type bring with them a problem with the topper bed fouling the shaft, NOT my idea of easy work!
